"Here is a photo of me and two Reso-ukes I built from scraps. They both have "C" holes now, the pineapple reso is concert scale and the traditional is soprano scale. They have Quarterman cones, maple biscuit, bone nut and saddle. Top and back are Baltic Birch, sides and neck are Honduran Mahogany. Indian Rosewood fretboard. I had them both strung up and played without the "C" holes for sound comparison and the holes really open the sound up, volume and clarity."
