|Burning Uke 2003 - I'm a member of the Ukulele Club of Santa Cruz. The club organized a campout in Plaskett Creek (the southern end of Big Sur). Huge fun... singing, playing, more singing, and even more playing (nominal sleep). A handful of the guys built a huge (Trojan) ukulele. It was offered to the Saturday night bonfire, going out in a blaze of glory (hence the name "Burning Uke").|
|Christmas 2003 - That's me (Michelle Kiba) and Petty Booka at their West Coast tour in Dec. 2003. I was honored to be their opening act, along with my Aloha Style Band in Santa Cruz and San Francisco. All the way from Tokyo, Japan, these lovely ladies put on a great show.|
