Let It Be Now,  Bag End Boys
Click on the CD cover for more information
Catchy original tunes, tight vocal harmonies and two ukes dominate this first Bag End Boys CD. Made up of J. Zornado and Uke Hall Of Fame Museum director, Dave Wasser, the BEBs write contemporary pop songs that feature melodies that sometimes swirl in neat, unexpected ways. They can also cut a fine cover version of the Beatles classic, "The Word." Most amazing is how two ukes and two voices can sound so full. Further proof that the ukulele can rock and pop like its six string relative. 12 tracks.

73% Post-Consumer Novelty,  Mad Tea Party
Asheville’s hip folksters Mad Tea Party perform timeless original songs as well as novelty music from the 1920s and 1930s. Catchy tunes with a vaudeville twist. In the course of a performance they will sing and play ukulele, guitar, fiddle, banjo, kazoo, slide whistle, horns, bells, whistles, and more! Their material ranges from silly to sincere. And their delivery is delightfully refreshing. As one reviewer put it, “Perhaps the most meaningful thing I can say about the show is this: It’s a rare night when I can walk out of a bar at 2 AM and feel a little more innocent than when I came in” (Steve Shanafelt, Mountain Xpress). They will make you laugh and make you think, and they will most certainly entertain you.
